Schatten Pickups - $190
LonesomeTrain Music is now supplying Schatten passive pickups which have been specifically designed to suit Republic models. Active pickups are available on order although we suggest you consider using a passive model with an outboard unit such as Schatten's excellent combination Pre-Amp/DI.
We are supplying the TC model for Tricones and the NR-2, a model developed exclusively for Republic Single Cones. Schatten pickups are designed to install in a non-invasive manner, without modifications to the instrument. The design of Schatten pickups ensures that the acoustic sound of the instrument remains unaltered.

Extensively tested with Schatten pickups, these Preamp/DI's will allow you to plug your instrument into virtually any amplifier, P.A. system, or mixer and sound terrific.
These units are more than up to the rigors of road use and are enclosed in a heavy duty steel enclosure.

No more mis-matching impedance issues going into a 'strange' sound system. No more weak output and signal line-loss issues due to the length of the mixer cables.
